Drama Synopsis: The drama tells the story of Soo Baek-hyang, who was unable to recognize her royal claim as a princess due to her evil half-sister.

Drama Plot: Su Baek Hyang is born as the secret love child of a traitor’s daughter and the person who would later crowned as King Muryeong of Baekje. Su Baek Hyang and her mother escapes to Gaya with the help of her household servant, to whom she eventually marries. Baek-hyang showed a deep filial piety to her father and was patriotic of Baekje. She later became the leader of Bimun, a secret spy group that helped her country in war.

King Muryeong 무령왕 (462 – 523, r. 501 – 523) was the 25th king of Baekje. His legacy survives because during his reign was Baekje experienced a cultural renaissance while also becoming a major sea power. According to both historical and archaeological sources, contact and trade between China and Baekje increased during Muryeong’s reign. In both 513 and 516, he sent Confucian scholars to Japan to officially introduce Confucianism in Japan. The Crown Prince Myung Nong 명농 goes on to become King Seong 성왕, the 26th king of Baekje (r. 523–554).
