Sorry, this page is still under construction.

In the meantime, here’s a list of dramas that center on Baekje:

  • King Geunchogo (aka: Geunchogo Wang)  근초고왕 (近肖古王)  – Goes over the founding story of Baekje in 18 AD. However, it is really focuses around 340 years later on  King Geunchogo who was key in turning Baekje into a full fledged kingdom that wielding both cultural and military influence.
  • The King’s Daughter, Soo Beak Hyang제왕의 딸, 수백향
  • Ballad of Seo Dong 서동요
  • Gye Baek 계백 – If King Geunchogo is about the beginning of Baekje, then Gye Baek would be about the fall of Baekje in 660 AD.

Hello! can you help me find the names of Baekje “princesses” (or at least–Baekje king’s daughters) who would be born around 472 AD??? Thank you so much!!!

    • King Gaero 개로왕 was the king of Baekje in 472AD. I cannot find any daughters listed. Most of the kings only have the crown princes recorded, so it’s difficult to find any records of other children, let alone any women. Even Soo Baek Hyang, the Baekje Princess of King Muryeong, was not found in any Korean historical records. Her name had come down through Japanese records. Sorry, I couldn’t help. If anyone else has more information, please feel free to post.
